Choosing A Person To Develop

What do you look for in a potential group/team leader? Ask the following questions to assess a person’s readiness to be developed.

 

  • Are they engaged in the four ways to GROW?
  • Do they naturally gather people around them? Do people go to them with questions?
  • Are they F.A.T.?
    • Faithful
    • Available
    • Teachable
  • Do they love people? (Do they have a heart to care for people)
  • Do they have the ability (capacity) to handle the logistical aspects of their specific group/team leader role? Do they know and live out our values?
