In View Of Eternity

Most of us, at some point in our lives, have invested our time, energy or resources in something that didn’t meet our expectations. Imagine having that same feeling at the end of our life. We have one life to live; are we living it with a vision that will out live us? Proverbs 29:18 says that without a vision, people cast off restraint. How tragic it would be if at the end of our lives we realized that we invested all our time, energy and resources in things that didn’t matter. D.L.Moody said it like this, “My greatest fear is not that I would fail, but that I would succeed at something that does not matter.” Our goal should be to live a life that lives beyond us; a life that matters.
