To register for the tour, please visit www.faithbasedexpeditions.com and enter the tour code LPC318DF in the upper right corner. Click the “Register” button and follow the on-screen instructions.
Upon completing your tour registration, you will be asked to pay a $500 deposit per traveler, for which you may need a credit card or debit card. The remaining balance of the tour may be paid to Faith Based Expeditions by check due 100 days prior to the start of the tour.
We are NOT traveling via group air, so you will be responsible for purchasing that on your own and communicating the flight information to Faith Based Expeditions (FBE) so that they can arrange your ground transport to/from Tel Aviv airport. The cost of your airfare is IN ADDITION TO the land portion described below.
When booking your flight, you want your flight to depart the United States on March 5th with arrival in Tel Aviv on March 6th. All flights to Tel Aviv will travel overnight due to the time difference. Your return flight may be booked for any time on March 13th, but please keep in mind that hotel checkout time is 11am.
The cost of the land tour portion of the trip is $1,998 per person, of which $500 is due at the time of registration and the remaining balance is due to FBE 100 days prior to the tour.
The price of the land tour includes 4-star hotel accommodations throughout the tour, breakfast & dinner at the hotels, arranged ground transfers to/from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, transportation & site fees for attractions, and gratuity for driver/guide/hotel staff.
The price of the land tour DOES NOT include airfare, lunches, optional sites not included in the itinerary, travel protection insurance, hotel stays before/after the tour schedule, personal incidentals & items of personal nature, and single supplement fee if rooming alone.
You may book extra nights in Tel Aviv (on the front end of the tour) or Jerusalem (on the back end of the tour) by coordinating directly with Faith Based Expeditions after you’ve registered for the tour.
You will have the option to purchase travel insurance at the time of registration. This is optional, and you may also purchase such insurance from a variety of 3rd party vendors.
As we get closer to the trip, those that have registered for the tour will receive additional communication regarding specific details of the trip as well as some tips and recommendations for travel.
Lifepoint Church will conduct two separate drawings. The winner of each drawing will receive a fully paid land tour portion of the 2018 Israel Tour for them and a guest, a $3,996 value for each winner.
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED AND RECEIVED BY 11:59 PM ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2017.”
Question: What is the best flight to purchase?
Answer: This is completely a matter of personal preference. From what we have seen, we believe that standard flight prices for this trip for economy seats tend to range in the area of $900 to $1400 per person.
Question: Is it safe to travel to Israel?
Answer: We believe that it is as safe to travel to Israel as it is to go to any metropolitan area of any country. We would not send our staff if we did not feel that it was safe. This is just our opinion.
Question: How much cash should I bring? And, do I need to exchange for Israeli Sheckels?
Answer: For lunches, it is recommended that you bring between $10-$20 per person, per day. Most places in Israel accept Visa or MasterCard and also most accept American Dollars. You should also have money available for souvenirs, should you wish to purchase any.
Question: How should I dress?
Answer: It is Israel, so it is likely to be hot any time of the year. Most of the time you may wear appropriate t-shirts & shorts if you desire. However, there will be a handful of “holy” sites for which you will need to have clothing that extends to at least your elbows and knees, and your head covered. (Head coverings can be a ball cap or scarf). Your tour guides will communicate these sites to you the day prior.
Question: Do I need a power adapter?
Answer: You will receive a small package from FBE prior to the tour that will include a power adapter. Be sure to bring it with you!
