25 Apr Making Friends With Failure
We have to keep moving, regardless of our circumstances. Otherwise we will get stuck. People we admire appear to have one success after another. We try to copy them and fail. We get stuck. But a closer look at the people we admire will reveal a different situation. David was called “a man after My [God’s] own heart.” He did some great things and ultimately became king of Israel. But a closer look reveals that his life was not a series of successes. He also had significant relationship, moral, parental and leadership failures in his life. It is important we don’t get stuck in our failures. Pastor Daniel shared seven principles we need to apply to keep moving and use our failures to propel us to be a person after God’s heart.
