Progress & Milestones
June 2023
Lifepoint purchased the neighboring building to it’s Fredericksburg location for $5MM. The new building, located at 1380 Central Park Blvd, will allow the church to expand its Kidspoint environments, open up foyer space, and provide permanent classroom and student life space for Lifepoint College.
September 2023
Our team completed basic concept and floor plan layouts for Kidspoint Elementary environments, Lifepoint College classrooms, and a Lifepoint College Student Life Center.
December 2023
The church contracted with an interior designer to enhance the design and layout of the Student Life Center.
May 2024
The Student Life Center interior design was completed and handed over to our architects to finish MEP drawings for the downstairs spaces.
May 2024
Architectural drawings for the upstairs Lifepoint College classrooms were completed and submitted to the City for building permits.
July 2024
Building permits were approved for the Lifepoint College classrooms and construction commenced shortly thereafter.
August 2024
Architectural drawings were submitted to the City of Fredericksburg to apply for our building permit and to the general contractor to obtain updated pricing.
November 2024
Met with our architect to begin the planning stages for renovations to the foyer are to expand its capacity and improve traffic flow.
Obtained the building permit from the City of Fredericksburg to begin Level 1 construction.
December 2024
Started construction on the first floor of the building for Kidspoint Expansion and the Student Life Center for Lifepoint College.
