Director of Engineering
Full-Time:
The Director of Engineering oversees the management of all gear for the Production Department and assists the Director of Production with executing timelines for new gear installation and deployment to campuses. Engineering covers both mechanical and technical functions of all production gear. The Director of Engineering maintains the preferences in the choosing of brands usage, infrastructure, systems of communication, and signal flow between the areas of audio, video, lighting, and master control, as well as interfacing with Information Technology.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Establishing standards for engineering systems and assisting teams in achieving and maintaining the standards set forth
- Physical execution or overseeing of projects to include collaborating with multiple departments and vendors on new campus buildings, renovations, and installs, as well as smaller projects handled internally
- Collaborating regularly with Information Technology department
- Ensuring all needed supplies pertaining to engineering are stocked
- Oversees regular maintenance of all production equipment
- Handles all gear repairs to include in-house repairing of equipment, sending equipment out for repairs as well as warranty management.
