Lifepoint Church is hiring a Senior Filmmaker that will work within its Film Department to produce a variety of communicative and creative films to meet its organizational needs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ Years Filmmaking Experience
  • Experience making films within a ministry context is a plus
  • Familiarity with all aspects of filmmaking, including (but not limited to) pre-production, production and post-production
  • Familiarity with a variety of different cameras and editing software, specifically Adobe
  • Candidates should provide a demo reel along with application

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for making & editing Lifepoint films, to include interviews and working with talents of various nature
  • Maintaining several projects at a time
  • Identifying and training Dream Team (volunteer) film team members
  • Scouting potential locations for filming
  • Caring for and tracking all film gear
  • Involved in “big idea” development & writing
  • Will interact with all departments throughout the organization
  • May be asked to support Lifepoint College, Freedom Ministry, or other Lifepoint initiatives outside of filmmaking
  • Other duties as assigned

Fredericksburg Campus Production Director

The Campus Production Director leads all events and communication pertaining to Production, including the areas of audio, video, lighting, and producing. The Fredericksburg location is currently the broadcast location for our church, and as such, the Fredericksburg Campus Production Director would oversee all aspects of multi-site transmission and ensuring that the local Production team is operating with the other receiving campuses and online audiences in mind. The Campus Production Director should be able to function with confidence within all AVL systems on their campus. Director of Engineering

Full-Time:
The Director of Engineering oversees the management of all gear for the Production Department, and assists the Technical Director with executing timelines for new gear installation and deployment to campuses. Engineering covers both mechanical and technical functions of all production gear. The Director of Engineering determines the preferences in the choosing of brands usage, infrastructure, systems of communication, and signal flow between the areas of audio, video, lighting, and master control, as well as interfacing with Information Technology.
