Lifepoint College Academic Support Coordinator

 

Lifepoint College is hiring an Academic Support Coordinator. This position is responsible for providing general support to the Academic Department and programs, faculty and students. Duties include clerical and administrative functions, academic reporting, online learning platform management, and Graduation event logistics.

Qualifications

  • Experience in educational support is preferred 
  • Administrative experience in a professional environment is required 
  • Minimum Associates Degree required  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including (but not limited to) Word, Excel, and Outlook  
  • Professional experience exercising excellent written and verbal communication skills 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supports Brightspace online learning management platform 
    • Create, maintain, archive and develop course online environments 
    • Implement continuous improvement of platform system 
  • Prepare academic records, reports, and statistical statements in Student Information System as required by Director of Academics  
  • Maintain and update semester course schedules as directed by Director of Academics 
  • Support the planning and execution of Lifepoint College Graduation including oversight of logistics, ordering of regalia, and coordination of environments  
  • Provide support to Lifepoint College faculty 
    • Support onboarding and training 
    • Coordinate faculty meetings, maintain agendas and meeting minutes 
    • Facilitate communication between Director of Academics and faculty 
    • Ensure timely supplies of academic books and materials to faculty 
  • Maintain up to date Academic Catalog  
  • Support Certificate Program students and faculty 
    • Be present on Monday evenings during course times 
  • Provide logistical support to all academic exercises including guest lectures, seminars, leadership intensives, and academic trips  
  • Other duties as assigned

Reporting Relationships

  • Direct-Line reports to Director of Academics 

 

Employment Status

  • Part-time, 24-30 hours per week 
  • Monday – Thursday
