Lifepoint College Administrative Assistant

 

Lifepoint College is hiring an Administrative Assistant. This position is responsible for executing the clerical and administrative tasks that ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of Lifepoint College. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our students and college staff, assisting in daily office needs, coordinating events, and managing Lifepoint College’s general administrative activities.

Qualifications

  • Administrative experience in a professional environment is required 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including (but not limited to) Word, Excel, and Outlook  
  • Professional experience exercising excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures  

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive and direct phone calls, incoming email inquiries, and host guests of Lifepoint College 
  • Update and maintain student calendar and staff-to-student communication channels 
  • Plan meeting agendas, take detailed minutes and communicate action items to staff 
  • Support the planning and execution of Lifepoint College Orientation, student life and various college events  
  • Code and submit expense reports 
  • Update and maintain inventory of supplies and materials  
  • Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of Lifepoint College facility 
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports  
  • Perform clerical duties as related to Administration of Lifepoint College  
  • Other duties as assigned

Reporting Relationships

  • Direct-Line reports to Director of Finance and Administration 

 

Employment Status

  • Part-time, 24-30 hours per week 
  • Monday – Thursday
